My name is Aminat Akintan, and I am the Nursery Manager at Fledgelings Day Nursery in Rainham. With over 16 years of experience in the early years sector, my passion for working with young children stems from my love for them. I am dedicated to creating educational environments that foster children's learning and development.

Witnessing each child's unique growth into independent and confident individuals, with a genuine love for learning through play and exploration.

As the Nursery Manager at Rainham, I am committed to providing a safe and caring environment for all our children. I aim to create a curriculum that both challenges and inspires the children, fostering a love for learning through engaging activities. Collaborating with parents is also essential as choosing a nursery is a significant decision for them. Building trust with parents to ensure that we provide the best care for their children is crucial.

This is only achievable by supporting and building an amazing team, ensuring their ongoing personal development and training. This ensures they are equipped to provide high-quality early years provision. Children acquire and enhance crucial skills in the first five years of their lives, which significantly shape their learning foundations. Allowing children to play and explore their environment during this time, with supportive adults guiding them, is paramount.
